This is a composite derived from Eadweard Muybridge’s ''A Couple Waltzing.'' His phenakustoscope discs created the optical illusion of movement which was the predecessor to moving pictures.
About Don McCunn
I am a photographer/costumer raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a BS in theatre from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in theatre from UCSB. For me photography is theatre at 1/60th of a second. It gives me particular pleasure to work with talented models to create original imagery inspired by fine art that has been enjoyed for centuries.
